Workstation preferences include scaling and zoom options for UDFs and the appointment book, and options for configuring a telephone and an integrated Tyro terminal. These preferences are unique to the workstation on which the changes are made.
- Select Setup > Workstation Preferences. The Workstation Preferences screen will be displayed.
- Adjust the required settings to suit the workstation.
- Click OK to save settings.

| Physical Location | Free text description for the physical location of the workstation. For example, 'Dr Smith's office' or 'Reception'. | 
| UDF Label Scale | Default zoom size of UDF labels. | 
| Medical Desktop UDF Zoom Mode | Default zoom size of Medical Desktop UDFs. | 
| Appointment Book Font Scale | Default size of appointment book fonts. | 
| Location of VIP2000 EXE | If you upgraded from a version of VIP 2000, supplying the location of the old version allows you to view pre-Bp VIP.net transactions. Contact Best Practice Software specialist product support if you are experiencing difficulties with this setting. | 
| Terminal Integration | Select 'Tyro' if a Tyro terminal is connected to this workstation. See Set up Tyro for more information. | 
| Terminal ID | Enter the Tyro terminal ID if you selected 'Tyro' in the previous field. | 
| Phone Settings | Enter the settings for the telephone connected to this workstation. | 
| Kiosk (tick if this workstation is to used as a kiosk.) | Tick if the workstation is a laptop or tablet designated as a Kiosk workstation. See Setting up and using Kiosk for more information. |
